Americans, what do you think of this idea?

You know how we have a responsibilty to participate in jury when we are called. Well, I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to have something similar un federal government. A computer would randomly pick people who would be part of the legislative and judicial branch. They would have a say in things like the budget and every few weeks or so new people will come. This is just a rough idea. What do you think? I'm only looking for opinion?
