We are friends with benefits, why does he want me to cook for him now?

We are friends with benefits. We hang out, rent movies, go to the movies, get drinks, bs over text. I made it clear I don't want a relationship. About 6 months ago. Recently I have started to realize, I kind of like him, actually I like him a lot, he has no clue. Last time with him, I snuggled with him instead of leaving right away, and I kissed him goodbye. He has been asking me to cook for him, so I finally agreed. I don't know how he feels about me, or if he really is interested like that. I don't want to ask him and ruin it by sounding like a typical girl, so I am being pathetic and asking ya'll instead. Does cooking for him mean anything? I heard it does, but not sure what this, if it does mean anythin.
