How do i use a mla citation ?????? halp meh pleez !!!?

i wrote my paper without mla citation and my teacher told me to put some in so where do i put the mla citation in the paper or on seperate peice and what do i put in it ..pleez someone explain the whole thing and a example or something easy 10 pntz
