Can you read, rate, and critique this tiny beginning to my story?

This is pretty funny, I like that you were talking about fish! xD I like that you didn't tell the reader things, you showed it. Maybe after saying "It was the second time I'd ever seen his face completely serious." you could briefly explain what the first time was? I'd definitely read more of this. Great stuff, keep it up!
