What are the pros and cons to going to a women's college?

I have received many brochures from colleges recently and a few of them have been from women's colleges. My mom said that I wouldn't want to go there. When I asked her why she never got around to answering me. I don't have a problem with gay people (which I think is what my mother meant) so what are the pros and cons of a women's school?
