Do you believe Foreman was poisoned before his fight with Ali?

He's saying he was in a new book that he wrote. He's kind of contridicting himself, on the one hand, he's saying that Ali beat him fair and square, but then on the other, he's claiming that he was poisoned and that he wasn't himself. Is he trying to taint Ali's win after all these years? If so, why?
