A4 typing with 10-11 font for 1500 words = 6 pages?

So i have this paper due for a study abroad cl... the format though is that it should be A4 typing with font size 10-11. It has to be 1500 words, which would apparently be 6 pages (when you double space it)- does that make sense to you? cause i'm close to 1500 words, and i'm only beginning on my 4th page. I'm freaking out, because i'm not sure how much more i can find to do this research paper on... is this a typo?
