Please explain how the secondary coil in a transformer obeys Ohm's law if a load is connected to it.?

I mean to say that when voltage is stepped up, the voltage across the secondary coil increases. So by Ohm's law current should increase in the secondary coil. But to conserve power, current should proportionally decrease.Which one is correct? Please explain.Thanks.
