The big disadvantage of diet soda is that is has no nutritional value whatsoever. In addition, many of them have artificial sweeteners....just my opinion but if you have that sweet craving or need something flavored, you're better off drinking something with real sugar in it (but not too much of it; you really have to read labels). I guess it's okay to have a soda or diet soda every once in a while but I don't think it's a good idea to drink them on a daily basis.
