For Republicans: would you still vote for McCain if Mitt Romney was his Running Mate...since he's Mormon?

Well, I'm a republican - and I'm not fond of the idea of voting for McCain [although I'm certainly not going to swing to Obama]. Mitt would make the choice more palatable [I respect his choices as gov and loved the fiscal responsibility he showed w the winter olympics] - but as I'm a Mormon, this probably won't help understand whether those who do not like Mormons [and do not think the Mormons are christian] will accept a ticket w Mitt onboard.
