What is Collective Consciousness? Are we all linked this way to each other?

individual memory is little in comparison to the biological memory of a species. in the minds deepest layers beyond conscious subjectivity exists the symbols, the archetypes, the primordial forms. we have millions of years of evolutionary history stored in there. we are linked by our subconscious roots.
